i caved and bought this. it was on sale, my nordstrom card hadn't been swiped in a month or so, the fates aligned, insert far-fetched justifications here and here and here. 

it's even more glorious than i imagined.

last night, at dinner, i was quiet for a little too long. he asked me what i was thinking about. the look in his eyes was so genuine and sweet...

...then i had to admit i was mentally going through my closet assembling outfits that would look cute with my new purchase.
